Georgia Department of Community Health Extends Contract With Longitude Health for MyHealthVillage.com Tue, Jun 15 2010
Exercises Second Year Option on Contract to Provide Workplace Wellness for Georgia Employers
Somerset, NJ – May 17, 2010 – Longitude Health, Inc., www.longitudehealth.com, provider of guided health and wellness solutions, today announced that the Georgia Department of Community Health, Division of Public Health (DCH), Cardiovascular Health Initiative (CVHI) has exercised its option to renew and extend its contract with Longitude Health into its second year. Longitude Health will continue to provide its innovative health and wellness program, MyHeathVillage.com to existing and new-recruited Georgia-based employers. The Georgia DCH continues to have the option of renewing for up to three additional years.

Longitude Health provides participating employers with an employee Wellness Benefit that is holistic and comprehensive and reduces the health risks associated with cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity.

The MyHealthVillage program is available for free to worksites selected by the DCH's Office of Chronic Disease Prevention and Wellness.
